Bukidnon

Bukidnon, situated in the highlands of Mindanao, Philippines, is a province that boasts of majestic mountains, vast green plateaus, and rich cultural heritage. My recent adventure took me to some of its most renowned attractions. Here’s a rundown of my Bukidnon escapade.

Rotypeaks

Our journey began at Rotypeaks. A relatively uncharted terrain for many, this spot is a dream for hiking enthusiasts. The trail winds through verdant landscapes, and as you ascend, the panoramic view of Bukidnon unfolds before your eyes. The peaks offer a serene environment, away from the bustling noise of city life. It’s an ideal spot for soul-searching or simply to bask in the beauty of nature.

Communal Ranch

Next on our list was the Communal Ranch. As the name suggests, it’s a community-run ranch with vast expanses of grazing land. The place felt like a scene straight out of a classic Western movie – with wide-open spaces, freely roaming cattle, and the distant mountains as a backdrop. Besides being a pastoral wonderland, the ranch also showcases the province’s commitment to sustainable and community-centric farming practices.

Lover’s Lane

Bukidnon isn’t all about the wild and adventurous – it also has its romantic side. Lover’s Lane is a testament to this. This picturesque pathway, surrounded by towering trees and punctuated by dainty benches, is perfect for couples or anyone seeking a serene walk. The atmosphere, especially during sunset, creates a golden hue, setting a dreamy mood that makes you appreciate the simpler joys of life.

Cliffside Glamping

Now, for those who want a blend of nature and luxury, Bukidnon offers Cliffside Glamping. It’s not your typical camping experience. Perched on a cliff, these luxurious tents provide all the comforts of a hotel room, but with the added bonus of an unobstructed view of the landscape below. At night, the sky transforms into a sea of stars, making it a celestial experience that’s worth every peso.

Dahilayan Adventure Park

Last, but certainly not least, we ventured to Dahilayan Adventure Park. This place is a haven for thrill-seekers. From Asia’s longest dual zipline to the adrenaline-pumping drop zone, there’s something for everyone. Nestled amidst lush pine trees, the park isn’t just about the rides. The cool climate and the scent of pine in the air add to the overall refreshing experience.

Bukidnon is indeed a treasure trove of natural wonders and thrilling activities. Its fusion of culture, adventure, and pristine landscapes makes it a must-visit destination in the Philippines. Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie, a nature lover, or someone just looking to escape the daily grind, Bukidnon promises an unforgettable journey

So, when are you packing your bags for Bukidnon?
